Airbnb is a great option and anywhere is great

Tim was a great host

Food/drinks:

-Venus & Adonis- cute restaurant steak and seafood, dutch beer and good wine

-Cafe De Sluyswacht- cute, crooked little house/bar/restaurant on the Canal that serves dutch beer and great bar snacky foods. It’s cozy inside or you can sit outside and eat and drink on the canal.

-Vinnie’s – amazing breakfast- Raïnaraï – cute vibey spot to sit on blankets outside on the canal and have a glass of wine or some yummy Algerian food and people watch.

- The Pantry- great authentic Dutch restaurant. Very good, usually has a wait outside so make a reservation or go a little early.

- Pulitzer’s Bar- SUCH a cool hotel bar

-Café Restaurant De Reiger- Locals restaurant. Nothing fancy, but nice.
-George’s - a more local spot with great vibes, drinks, and food

Things to do:

- TULIPS (late March to Mid-May)- You can book tours, or take transportation out to Keukenhof, which is an organized gardens of Tulips for tourists. We chose to rent a car and go drive out on our own because there are more authentic tulip fields all over out by Keukenhof, which are spectacular, and you can almost walk right up to them.

- Smoke weed, it’s legal

- Walk around the red light district- keep your phone in your pocket, they’ll yell at you if they think you’re taking photos here

- Take a canal tour- they have ones that serve wine and stuff

-Nightclubs- Gashouder is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been too, it’s an old Gas Chamber that they turned into a nightclub.
- Shop- there are so many cute shops around the canals to walk around, lots of art and vintage

-Anne Frank House

-Van Gogh Museum

-Rembrandt House
